3/27/11 – Becca becomes a MIZZOU TIGER!!

Becca has announced today that she will accept a walk-on offer to join the Mizzou Tiger gymnastics team next year. She is thrilled to be joining such a prestigious program with coaches Rob Drass, John Figueroa and Amy Smith. She will study Journalism at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.

MARCH, 2011 – SEASON UPDATE

Becca’s 2011 Season has included several
top 5 finishes including:

WCGC – 2nd-Vault; 5th-Beam; 4th-AA
Sand Dollar – 2nd-Vault; 5th-Bars; 2nd-Beam; 2nd-Floor; 3rd-AA
IGI - 4th-Vault
Harley – 3rd-Vault; 5th-AA
Northern Lights – 4th-Vault; 2nd –Bars; 4th –Beam; 5th –Floor; 5th –AA (Qualified to Event Finals in 3 events but was unable to compete due to foot injury)
Scamps – 3rd –Bars; 4th –Beam; 4th -AA

5/9/10 – 5th PLACE FINISH AT NIT!!

Becca finished in 5th place AA in the Senior B age group at the NIT. A solid 9.45 performance resulted in a 2nd place finish on floor and she also took 4th place on beam. Another highlight of the meet was her Yurchenko full vault, which she competed for the first time since January.

4/10/10 – BECCA MISSES QUALIFYING FOR NATIONALS – WILL COMPETE IN NIT

An uncharacteristic fall on floor resulted in a 9th place finish at Regionals – just 0.5 points out of a qualifying position. While disappointed with her regional results, Becca is looking forward to competing in the Sunday morning (5/9/10) session at the National Invitational Tournament.

3/27/10 – BECCA FINISHES 4TH AA AT WI STATE MEET

A solid State meet resulted in a 4th place AA finish and qualified Becca for the Regional Championship in Kansas City on April 10th. Her floor routine earned a score of 9.375 (3rd) and a strong Yurchenko Layout Vault earned a 9.075 (4th). This meet marked the return of several skills that had been removed from routines earlier in the season due to an ankle injury. She is anticipating an exciting meet at Regionals.

5/16/09 – BECCA EARNS ALL-AROUND SCORE OF 36.675 AT NATIONALS

4/25/09 - BECCA QUALIFIES TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Becca competed at the Region 4 Championships on 4/25/09 in Wisconsin Dells, WI and finished tied for third place which qualifies her to compete at the 2009 Level 10 Junior Olympic National Championship in the Junior D age group.  Competing against Region 4 athletes from Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, she earned an All-Around score of 36.00.  Event scores were: Vault - 9.175 (7^th); Bars – 8.775 (6^th); Beam – 8.8 (6^th) and Floor – 9.25 (3T).  National Championships will be held in Seattle, Washington and Becca will compete in the Saturday evening session on May 16^th.

4/4/09 – ALL-AROUND SCORE OF 36.475 QUALIFIES BECCA TO REGIONALS

WI State Championships were held on 4/4/09 at Concordia University in Mequon, WI.  Becca’s All-Around Score of 36.475 was 4^th place in the 15/16 year old age group and has qualified her to the Regional Championship to be held in WI Dells on 4/25/09.  For Regionals, she will compete in the Junior D age group.  Event scores at the State Championship were: Vault - 9.150 (6^th); Bars – 9.05 (6^th); Beam – 9.025 (6^th) and Floor – 9.25 (6^th).
